To be able to share my talent, touch many lives, bringing happiness to others, I am grateful and very blessed.

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away. -Pablo Picasso

When you raise your kids in a small town you are limited with having things available to you. I had a friend who had her children’s hands casted and I remembered thinking how I would love to have had this for my children. I was blessed to be a stay at home mom, raising our four children with some extra spare time on my side. Having a degree in Business and an artistic talent, I knew that I would love to start casting and run my own business. I started to research hand castings, ordered dvd’s, spoken with trained casters and began to practice. It took a few years to get it mastered along with finding the product that I liked the best to produce high quality casts that I will put my name and reputation to. I gave birth to four wonderful hand models that sometimes had grumpy faces, and when they got tired of me casting them, I started casting neighbor kids and friends giving them gifts for birthdays and holidays. I even swapped out a casting for a handful of free haircuts for my husband.

I kept it light hearted and then one day I knew I had to do my hardest casting. A sweet little family that I knew had lost an infant to SIDS. I ached inside for them and knew that I had to offer my services. It would hurt me more not offering and have them comment down the road how they had wished they had castings of their little angel. I had contacted them and they accepted my offer. Oh how I felt inside being able to be there with them in this hard time knowing that I can give them something physical for them to have and hold. The casting session was so special. I had cast the mom holding her hand with her little angel wrapping her hand around her finger. This is the first thing that she had done when she was born and handed to her mom just six weeks earlier. So, along with having her hands and feet, they have her hand holding her moms finger to physically hold and touch. It was after this that I had started to offer my bereavement services. I have such an intense attention to detail that I put in every piece, that these loves ones still look like they did before passing.

I have been casting since 2007, from births, to baptisms, weddings, anniversaries, aging loved one, hospice and bereavements. You can have cherished memories of your loved ones set in stone. I also offer pendents with the ash of your loved ones to keep close with you. From jewelry to sun catchers, book marks or what your heart desires from resin, we can discuss and I’ll create it. I do cast smaller pets as they are loved family members too.

I am so blessed to have touched many lives through happy times to the hardest times they have experienced. Please contact me if you would like to have a casting done.
